- 450g/1lb of lean mince
- 110g/4oz brown breadcrumbs
- Pinch of mixed fresh herbs - rosemary, thyme and oregano
- 1/4 of an egg beaten
- 1 teaspoon of plain flour
- 1 small onion cut finely
- Salt/pepper to taste
Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl.
Bind with a beaten egg.
Shape into 4 round shapes with a little flour.
Fry for 10 minutes on each side on a medium heat until well cooked. Place the burger in a toasted crusty burger bun.
Serve with a choice of sauces - tomato, relish, wholegrain mustard etc.
Add salad, sweet potato and garlic wedges.
